New Jersey – Miami Trade Rumors.

Keyon Dooling

According to MiamiHerald.com,

“The Heat — which says it would prefer to trade for a backup point guard than sign one — spoke to New Jersey about ex-Heat guards Rafer Alston and Keyon Dooling, one of whom could be dealt. Nothing materialized, but the door was left open for further talks.”

That left me wondering, with Dooling playing the way he played last season, would the Nets trade him? I can say the same for Rafer (in Orlando). If we can get a player like Udonis Haslem, Dorell Wright, Luther Head, or maybe even Chris Quinn; The Nets might be considering the trade. I would rather see how Rafer plays in New Jersey before deciding who I would send away, but with saying that. In the offseason, I would rather trade Rafer, just because you know what you are getting with Dooling. Keep in mind Rafers career numbers are better (barely).
